As lockdown life continues on the Gold Coast and residents look for ways to support local growers, artisans, producers and providores in the community, we have rounded up everything you need to know about who’s open and offering essential retail and takeaway services during this period.




If you’re heading to Robina Town Centre to stock up on some essential grocery items, why not fuel up with a much-needed caffeine hit while you’re passing through at one of our much-loved, family-owned coffee houses and cafes?


Crafted Coffee Co is open for (takeaway) business daily from 7am*, brewing your fave house-roasted blends from their grab-and-go bar in The Kitchens.


Coming Home Co is also pouring the perfect cuppa’ from 6am* daily as well as slinging homemade cakes, sandwiches, seasonally-led salads, muffins and other moreish morsels to get you through WFH life.

If lockdown has inspired your inner foodie to get creative in the kitchen - or you’re just getting eaten out of house and home by the family - We have a number of essential stores trading for your convenience to fill your fridge and pantry with local goodies.


Carb-loading is a surefire way to feel better, and Bakers Delight is here for you, open daily from 7am and serving all their beloved baked goods.


We may not be having friends/family over for a BBQ this weekend, but that doesn’t mean you can’t fire up the barbie for a feast with the fam. Steak Kings and Country West Meats  remain open with their drool-worthy line up of gourmet cuts, dry-aged goods, poultry and pies.


Lockdown is a great time to prioritise your health and wellbeing, so swing past Earth Markets to stock up on the freshest fruit and veg, handpicked daily by this family-owned and operated business who are big on supporting local growers and farmers too. 


With weekend plans out the window why not plan a lockdown picnic platter at home with some local and imported gourmet delicacies from Barbosa Fine Foods, stocked full of decadent dips, countless cheese varieties, chutneys, crisp breads and crackers, and any other platter accompaniment you can dream up.


Robina Town Centre’s two Woolworths supermarkets and Coles are also open daily for all your household essentials.

If planning and cooking dinner is in the too hard basket right now (we’re right there with you), there’s a stellar selection of Robina Town Centre restaurants and eateries offering take-home packs, special takeaway menu and delivery options to ease the stress of mealtimes.


While we wish we were catching the Olympics action live on the big screens at The Sporting Globe, the popular sports bar has made a quick pivot and launched Lockdown Pub Packs, available to order online or via the app.


If you’ve a hankering for some good ol’ American-style wings, ribs and other pub classics,TGI Fridays is slinging takeaway and delivery meal deals from Thursday to Sunday to get you through ’til your next real-life pub fix.


Burgers without the guilt are a crowd-pleasing dinner option and Grill’d is ready to whip your order up in a jiffy via their convenient online ordering service. It’s a great time to try their new HFC (Healthy Fried Chicken) range too.


Speaking of burgers, The Kitchens’ classic burger shack Betty’s Burgers is also open for biz, offering their juicy burgers, decadent thick shakes and creamy ‘concretes’ (think frozen custard) as take-home treats.


Robina Town Centre is also home to a tempting selection of pan-Asian eateries that are here to satisfy your lockdown cravings: from Motto Motto’s loaded rice bowls and curries, to freshly prepared rice-paper rolls at Roll’d, sashimi and sushi platters at Hero Sushi, and authentic ramen bowls at Muso Ramen. There’s also plenty of guilt-free treats to get you through at Seeds of Life, with the popular bakery creating incredible grain and gluten free, organic, plant-based whole-foods, loaves, banana bread, cookies and even donuts - baked fresh daily.
