As a new season edges closer, a new era of beauty trends beckons. This Spring-Summer, beauty trends are taking cues from the vivid hues of nostalgic child’s play, sun-drenched sunsets, and the sparkle of warm-weather revelry. Ready to refresh your beauty game? Join us as we uncover the top beauty looks that we’re predicting to trend over the season ahead.

1. Punchy pigments
Get playful with your make up look by adding an electrifying splash of colour across your eye. The key to pulling off this look is to keep the rest of your face simple and natural, while allowing your statement eye to take centre-stage. We love the vibrant eye shadow palettes that have landed in store at Mecca, including the Mini Mix Eyeshadow Palette and the Technicolour Rebel Eye and Cheek Palette from Napoleon Perdis. You could also experiment with the coloured liners available in Sephora. After all, life’s too short to keep it subdued, right?

2. Cloud skin
If you’re yet to be initiated with this TikTok-fuelled trend, we’re here to fill you in. While dewy-finish skin is still in, we’re now seeing a rise in ‘Cloud skin’; a skin finish that finds a perfect balance between matte and glow. Equal parts velvety and blurred, this look is all about starting with a moisturised base, before layering with a liquid foundation and finishing with powder to achieve a perfect soft matte finish. To achieve this look, head to Mecca to pick up some Mecca Bring On Bright Illuminating Primer, Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation, and Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder.

3. Sunset cheeks
For that lit-from-within glow, you’ll certainly want to give this trend a try. The sunset skin trend takes cues from the warm colours of the sunset to inspire your blush and highlighter look. After completing your foundation base, start by applying a pigmented rosey-hued cream blush right below your cheekbones, before layering a peachy-hued highlight right upon your cheekbone. For these two steps, we love the Benefit Cosmetics Floratint Rose-Tinted Cheek Stain from Sephora. Then, finish with a champagne-glow highlight to finish the sunset, using the Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer from Sephora. Blend to melt the colours together—and voila! You’ve created the perfect sunset-inspired finish full of glow.

4. High-impact lips
Nothing adds punch quite like a high-impact lip! For an instant hit of vibrancy, simply swipe on a bold lip colour. A deep, classic red is back this season—and the team at Sephora will be sure to help you find the perfect shade to complement your skin tone. We recommend starting with a lipliner (we love Sephora's Lip Stain Liner range), before adding your lipstick, then finishing with a lip oil from Sephora
