In 2014, three individuals met for a coffee, drawn together by a common goal of helping locals in need, and Walk with Us was born. The Walk with Us team have come from a wide range of backgrounds, each with their our own story to tell and genuine motivation to help others. At the time of their launch the team drew on their collective experience working amongst the community in varied roles and allowing them to understand how quickly and unexpectedly our lives can change and how easy it is to fall on tough times.

Today, Walk with Us continues to grow and is generously supported by a team of dedicated volunteers which helps deliver support and services to the disadvantaged, homeless, youth and domestic violence victims within our Gold Coast community.

From what started out with four people at Christmas lunch Walk With Us has grown to over 50 volunteers holding weekly dinners, hand out hampers on a weekly basis, help furnish homes for those who have been lucky enough to receive housing predominately from either being on the streets or fleeing from domestic violence, back to school supplies and anything that we can to help someone’s life a little brighter.

Throughout the year, Robina Town Centre is excited to partner with Walk with Us to support their newly launched Youth Academy program to help be a voice, provide guidance, and celebrate the achievements of our local youth and young adults, no matter how big or small.
