Summerween started in America with people who loved Halloween so much, they decided to celebrate it twice, a little like Christmas in July. For Aussies, it makes perfect sense. Think pool parties with floaties from, City Beach, lightweight costumes from Big W, more pink than orange decorations from Choice The Discount Store and watermelons carved instead of pumpkins.

Couple Dressing
Halloween is better when you dress in pairs. And it’s not just romantic couples anymore ,besties, siblings, and even parent–child duos are getting in on the fun. This year, we’re expecting to see everything from Ted & John, the Colonel and his chicken, to Linguini & Remy. This year, no one’s being left out not even the four-legged family members. From pumpkin dog suits and witchy capes to bat wings, spider harnesses, and skeleton jumpers from Kmart, pets are becoming the stars of the Halloween photo moment. Add in pumpkin chew toys from Big W and black-and-orange treats, and its basically Christmas for them just with cobwebs.
