In each of the unique stores, informed consultants are pleased to introduce the Aesop range and to guide your selections. Providing respite after a swim, the Aesop Robina store addresses the local peculiarity through material, shape and trompe l’œil. Volumes waving at the edges are expressed in eroded foam sealed with clear epoxy resin—the very substance of surfboards, here scaled up into architecture. On the central counter, the consultation sinks and a Fragrance Library of unconventional Eaux de Parfum are set directly into the board. The sidewall is divided in a series of three panels, sequenced like a swell. Each is fitted with shelves, carrying formulations for skin, hair, body and home.
